Ain Sokhna Product Hub (SUMED Terminal)

June Shipping Agency served as the appointed port and shipping agent for the Ain Sokhna Product Hub, the SUMED (Arab Petroleum Pipelines Co.) marine terminal on the Gulf of Suez, delivered by the Orascom–BESIX joint venture. The development added LNG, LPG and fuel-oil berths along a three-kilometre F-shaped jetty to SUMED's existing crude-oil terminal, strengthening Egypt's energy import and distribution network. Across the project lifecycle our team handled the full agency scope — local representation before port and government authorities, crew and project-staff sign-on/sign-off and permits, parcel and ship-spares deliveries, vessel clearance and husbandry, and customs coordination for equipment and construction materials — keeping vessel calls and deliveries on schedule from mobilisation to commissioning.

DP World Sokhna Basin 2 Expansion

June Shipping Agency served as port and shipping agent at DP World Sokhna during the USD 520 million Basin 2 expansion on the Gulf of Suez — part of DP World's USD 1.6 billion investment in Egypt. The scheme added a 1.3-kilometre quay and a 350,000-square-metre container yard, nearly doubling annual capacity to 1.75 million TEU. Across the project our team delivered the full agency scope — local representation before port and government authorities, crew and project-staff sign-on/sign-off and permits, parcel and ship-spares deliveries, vessel clearance and husbandry, and customs coordination for cranes, project equipment and construction materials — keeping vessel calls and deliveries on schedule without disrupting the port's live container and energy operations.
